At room temperature, it is a white solid in the form of flakes, beads, or blocks, mainly composed of saturated fatty acids with C16 and C18 as the main components. It is insoluble in water, slightly soluble in benzene and carbon disulfide, and easily soluble in hot ethanol. It is non-toxic and odorless, and has the general chemical properties of organic hydroxy acids.
Scope of Application
It is mainly used as a rubber vulcanizing agent, plastic heat stabilizer, lubricant, textile softener, chemical fiber oil agent, antistatic agent, food emulsifier, and as a raw material for the production of cosmetic detergents and various surfactants, etc.
Packaging and Storage
This product is packed in 25kg bags (with plastic lining and woven outer bag). It is a non-toxic, non-corrosive solid in flake form and belongs to non-hazardous goods. It should be transported in accordance with the operating regulations for non-hazardous goods, stored in a cool and dry place, protected from sunlight and rain, and should not be in contact with acidic or alkaline corrosive substances. The shelf life is 24 months.
