Description
Product Description
Poly(methyl)acrylate (ACR) processing aids are high polymers polymerized from one or several acrylate monomers via the emulsion polymerization process. They can accelerate the melting of PVC, enhance melt strength and uniformity, reduce melt fracture and exudation, and have no significant adverse impact on the mechanical properties of PVC. Therefore, they are widely used in PVC production at home and abroad. By using different types of acrylate monomers and adjusting their proportion, the plasticizing speed and melt strength of ACR resin products can be controlled. Meanwhile, under the condition of the same composition, the higher the intrinsic viscosity, the slower the plasticization and the greater the melt strength. Acrylate processing aids have no obvious effect on the tensile strength and Vicat softening point of PVC products; however, high-viscosity processing aids tend to increase the tensile strength and Vicat softening point of PVC products.
Application Scope
It is mainly used in various transparent and non-transparent products such as profiles, special-shaped profiles, pipes, pipe fittings, plates, films, and wood-plastic composites.
